ISO 9001:2000 is a set of quality management system guidelines established by the International Standards Organization. It was developed to create an internationally uniform and recognizable set of quality management requirements. Scheduled and documented internal quality audits of each area of the Quality Management System are carried out by trained, independent personnel who commit several hours during each audit to ensure the integrity, conformity and effectiveness of the system.
