Research Specialist

Location: Olathe, KS | Department: Research and Development | Status: Full Time

Basic Function: Handle inquiries on replacement parts for forklifts, aerial lifts and sweepers/scrubbers in researching part numbers, parts descriptions, parts availability, illustrations and technical information.

Responsibilities\Qualifications:

  • We seek someone Bi-lingual in English and Spanish to provide parts information to our customers in Mexico, Latin America and South America. Another position open is for someone to provide this same information to our United States customers (does not need to speak Spanish).
  • May also be involved in doing research using various technical manuals, publications, and on-line resources to assist our Research and Development Department as well as our Purchasing Department to identify parts not currently stocked or to answer questions about items that are stocked.

Requirements:

  • Prefer someone with thorough knowledge of after-market parts used by the powered industrial lift-truck industry, aerial lift industry or sweeper/scrubber industry.
  • Some college education is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed. Must have working knowledge of computers and various software such as Word, Excel, and Adobe

New Development Specialist

Location: Olathe, KS | Department: New Parts Development | Status: Full Time

Basic Function: Research and develop new product offerings for Company's distribution system that fits our customers' needs for repair/replacement parts on their material handling equipment. Monitor competitors' new product offerings and price changes. Analyze how to procure forklift parts used by customers that are not currently in our inventory or our catalog. Work with QA, sales, marketing and purchasing to bring new product into our inventory.

Responsibilities\Qualifications:

  • Seeking someone knowledgeable in forklift aftermarket parts or automotive parts to determine our customers needs on material handling equipment. Must be knowledgeable in computer usage. Have at least 2 years experience in the forklift industry or an automotive aftermarket parts company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 2 or more years of college is desirable. Able to work independently and a self-starter.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in forklift repair or similar material handling equipment. Acceptable if background is strong in automotive parts and their functions. Some college desired and must have computer skills in Microsoft office products.

Management Development Program

Location: Olathe, KS | Department: Human Resources | Status: Full Time

Basic Function: To develop talent through an internal development program that can lead to a leadership position within the Company.

Responsibilities\Qualifications:

  • We seek college graduate with degree in mechanical engineering or industrial technology capable of assuming a supervisory role within our company after 18-24 months of leadership development. Person assuming this role will be exposed to all facets of our business through our Management Development Program.

Requirements:

  • College degree in mechanical engineering or industrial technology. Willingness to accept varied assignments within Corporate Headquarters to learn all phases of our business that involves national and international shipping of industrial lift-truck replacement parts. Final assignment will result in a leadership role within the company related to our Engineering Department.

Warehouse Openings, 1st and 2nd Shift

Location: Olathe, KS | Department: Warehouse | Status: Full Time

Basic Function: This is a physical, fast-paced environment with opportunity for overtime. Successful candidates must be able to work quickly and accurately under strict time constraints while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities\Qualifications:

  • pulling orders according to packing slips in an accurate and timely manner
  • verifying the contents of packages to be shipped
  • light production/assembly work
  • or loading and unloading trucks depending on job assignment

Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Solid and stable employment history
  • Must be computer literate
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
